Parent & Caregiver Support

Huntsville, AL Colorado Springs, CO

Empowering Families Through Training

Therapy does not end when the session is over. The progress your child makes in the clinic is strengthened and sustained by what happens at home, at school, and in the community. Our parent and caregiver support program equips families with the knowledge and confidence to reinforce skills and manage behaviors in everyday life.

Consultation Services

Our Licensed Behavior Analysts provide training and consultation tailored to each family’s needs:

  • Parent Training, Advocacy, & Support — One-on-one and group sessions teaching ABA techniques, reinforcement strategies, and behavior management skills you can use at home
  • Daycare Staff Training & Support — Equipping daycare providers with strategies to support children with developmental needs in early childcare settings
  • Group Home Staff Training & Support — Training group home staff to implement behavior plans and support skill generalization in residential environments
  • Sibling Training & Support — Helping siblings understand and interact effectively with their loved ones using age-appropriate ABA strategies

What Parent Training Looks Like

Our Board Certified Behavior Analysts work directly with parents and caregivers in both group and individual settings. Training sessions focus on practical, hands-on strategies you can use right away, including:

  • Understanding ABA principles — Learn the basics of reinforcement, prompting, and shaping so you can support your child’s goals
  • Managing challenging behaviors — Gain tools for responding to tantrums, noncompliance, and other difficult moments with calm, effective strategies
  • Building communication skills — Practice techniques that encourage your child to express their needs
  • Creating structure at home — Learn how visual schedules, routines, and consistent expectations support your child’s success

Why Family Involvement Matters

Research consistently shows that family involvement is one of the strongest predictors of success in ABA therapy. When parents and caregivers are active participants, children generalize skills more quickly, maintain progress over time, and develop greater independence.

Our team understands that every family is different. We meet you where you are, offering flexible scheduling and tailoring training to your family’s specific needs and goals.
